MCA Orchard Tour & Lunch
The Michigan Cider Association is hosting an Orchard Tour & Lunch at Riveridge Cider Co. on Thursday from 10am to 2pm. The event is free of charge to all GLINTCAP volunteers, and does not require membership in the Michigan Cider Association to attend.

Please note that the orchard is roughly 25-30 minutes by car from the host hotel, and that participants must arrange their own transportation.

GLINTCAP Judge Training Seminar
Led by Charles McGonegal (AeppelTreow Winery) and Ambrosia Borowski (The Northman Beer & Cider Garden)

3:30-5:30 Protocol & Sample Judging: Scoresheets, Styles, Panels, Medals, etc.
5:30-5:45 Intermission
5:45-6:30 Nosing Session: Core Aroma Chemistry and Lexicon

The judge training seminar is open and free of charge to all GLINTCAP judges, stewards, and staff. The first part of this year’s seminar (Protocol & Sample Judging) is required for all judges. The second part of this year’s seminar (Nosing Session) is recommended for all judges, but not required.

We will take attendance using an online form, so please bring an Internet-capable device (phone, tablet, laptop) to the seminar. The wifi password for the event space will be provided on the screen at the front of the room.
